16 members submitted 31 images to be critiqued by Peter Orr, a professional judge. The images were divided into two groups.
The meeting took place over Zoom. Peter started by outlining his approach to critique and identifying the factors that he takes into consideration.
Peter displayed each image in turn in Lightroom and commented on it. The photographer then responded and there was a general discussion of the image. In some cases Peter used Lightroom to make changes that illustrated his comments.
The discussion of each image was quite detailed and there was only time to review the first group of images. The evening was very enjoyable and informative, especially for those who had submitted images for critique.
Peter will be returning in a later meeting to review the second group of images.
