Andreea Vas talked about projects which all related in some way to water. It was quite different to the usual photo-club talk which normally seeks to inspire us with a series of the speaker’s “best” pictures on their chosen theme, leavened with a smattering of technical information. Instead, Andreea focussed very much on the motivation behind making an image – and particularly when making a whole series or project.
She talked about her project The Fabric of memory, her husband Matt’s project The Leaves of the Dead and Mark Power’s Shipping Forecast series.
