Excursions in the Alps by Mike Rutherford

The first picture shows the Ober Gabelhorn (4,062 metres), Switzerland – you can just see the top of the Matterhorn behind it. Next are climbers on the summit ridge of the Wildspitze (3,768 metres) Austria. The Wildspitze is the highest mountain in the Austrian Tyrol. The third picture is approaching the summit of the Wildspitze, Austria and finally, crossing the Mitterkar Glacier in the Otztal Alps, Austria.
